About Parking at Co-op Live
Co-op Live opened in 2024 and quickly became one of the UK's most popular entertainment venues, with a 23,500 capacity that brings huge crowds to the Eastlands area on event nights. The problem? The parking infrastructure around the arena hasn't kept pace with demand.
Sitting right next to the Etihad Campus, Co-op Live shares its road network with the football stadium. On event nights, Alan Turing Way grinds to a standstill, Ashton New Road backs up in both directions, and the residential streets off Grey Mare Lane and Pottery Lane fill up fast. The limited on-site parking sells out almost immediately, leaving thousands of event-goers scrambling for somewhere to leave the car.
That's where we come in. We work with professional parking operators and landowners who have off-street spaces and car parks within easy walking distance of Co-op Live. You book in advance, your space is confirmed and waiting, and you walk to the venue without circling side streets or worrying about a parking ticket.
Most of our spaces are tucked away on quieter residential streets around the Eastlands area, giving you a straightforward walk to the arena. No guesswork, no stress, no rip-off pricing.

Event Day Tips for Co-op Live
A few pointers to make your event night run smoothly.
Arrive 90 Minutes Before Doors Open
Traffic around Eastlands builds quickly on event nights, especially when there's also football at the Etihad. Arriving 90 minutes ahead gives you time to park comfortably, grab some food, and walk to the venue without fighting bumper-to-bumper traffic on Alan Turing Way.
Best Approach Routes
From the motorway, take the M60 and come off at junction 23 onto the A635 (Ashton Old Road). From the south or west, approach via the A57 and loop round. Avoid Alan Turing Way close to showtime — it turns into a car park itself. The back streets off Ashton New Road are usually a smoother bet.
Pre-Event Food
If you've parked up early and fancy something to eat, there's street food and pop-ups near the Etihad Campus on event nights. For a proper sit-down, head to Grey Mare Lane where you'll find local restaurants and takeaways that are used to the pre-event rush. Plenty of options to suit every taste and budget.
Post-Event: Don't Rush
The roads around Co-op Live are gridlocked for 20 to 30 minutes after events end, with 23,500 people all leaving at once. Have a drink in the venue, grab some food, or just take a slow walk back to your car. Give it 15 to 20 minutes and the worst of the traffic will have cleared.
